We care about your privacy and want you to understand how your information is used when you use our app and services.

1. Who We Are

Santa Hotline is operated by Slice Digital Limited, registered in Ireland.
We made this app to make magical calls possible between Santa, his helpers, and you.

2. What We Collect

We only collect the information needed to provide and improve your Santa Hotline experience:

  • Account information - such as your display name, email address, and password (or login method).
  • Caller profiles - details you add for each caller, like name, birthday, and preferences, so Santa can personalize calls.
  • Call information - technical data such as time, duration, and type of call, and optional call recordings.
  • Device and network data - including your device type, app version, and IP address. IP addresses are used only for security, fraud prevention, and abuse detection.
  • Security and fraud-prevention data - limited information we keep to protect our services against abuse (for example, keeping a record that a device or email has already received a one-time welcome bonus).

We do not collect precise location data (like GPS or address-level information).

We do not use tracking technologies for advertising or share your personal data with advertisers.

3. Call Recordings

Call Recording is optional and disabled by default. You can turn it on or off anytime in the app settings.

You must have the permission of the person(s) making the call to record it, or be the legal guardian or parent of the caller if they are under 18.

  • When recording is off, calls are not permanently stored. Temporary call data (excluding audio) may be retained for up to 24 hours for quality checks and compliance monitoring, then automatically deleted.
  • When recording is on, your recordings are securely stored for 60 days so you can download and replay them within the app.
  • You should download and 'share' any recordings you want to keep long term to your own storage.
  • You can delete recordings anytime in the app and when you delete them, they are removed from our servers immediately and permanently.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Deliver and improve the Santa Hotline experience.
  • Personalize calls and messages from Santa and his helpers.
  • Suggest age-appropriate wishlist items or products (see section 5).
  • Communicate with you about your account, purchases, and updates.
  • Occasionally send Santa Hotline-related marketing emails (you can unsubscribe anytime).
  • Protect our services against fraud, abuse, and misuse (for example, preventing repeated use of one-time-only offers).

We never sell or share your information with third parties for tracking or advertising.

5. Amazon Affiliate and Gift Suggestions

Santa Hotline may display suggested gifts or products based on the wishlist, birthday, or interests you provide for a caller.

From time to time, we may participate in the Amazon Associates / Amazon Affiliate program and similar affiliate programs. This means that when we show a product suggestion and you choose to purchase it on Amazon, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.

We do not share your profile or caller data with Amazon for tracking or advertising. Any purchase you make on Amazon is subject to Amazon's own privacy policy and terms.

6. Managing Your Account and Data

You can:

  • Manage caller profiles and preferences across your devices by signing into your account.
  • Delete your account directly in the app at any time. This removes your personal data and caller profiles.
  • Request data deletion or a copy of your data by contacting support@santahotline.app.
  • When you delete your account, we may keep a very limited record (for example, that a particular email has already received a one-time welcome bonus) to prevent fraud and misuse. This record is kept only for as long as necessary for security and compliance.

7. Children's Privacy

Santa Hotline is designed for families.
Parents or guardians should create and manage accounts for children. We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children without parental consent.

8. Data Security

We use strong encryption and secure servers to protect your information in transit and at rest.
Only authorized team members can access data when needed for support, maintenance, or safety checks.

9. Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy, we'll post the new version in the app and note the update date. Continued use of Santa Hotline means you accept the revised terms.
